The curls will elongate and some parts will get frizzy. Humidity has a lot to do with that. This is the reason why I don't separate my hair to the extreme , the more I separate the frizzier my hair becomes. See HERE for deets
In order to maintain this style I would twist in large twists at night, add product if NEEDED add whichever rod I used to the ends and put my bonnet/scarf on
